Today it was dry enough to till the main garden area at Maple Grove. The soil looks fairly good. You can tell that a bit of compost has been added and the soil is not heavy clay like we typically find at new gardens. Other tasks that were done tonight included planting more lettuce (seedlings and seeds), peas, broccoli and onions. After we planted more veggie we got the water hose out to water the plants and also add some water to the rain barrel for storage. Having a full rain barrel will make it much easier when someone comes to water the garden.
