At the Epworth Veggie Garden we had 3 garlic plants that were "volunteers" or leftovers from last falls harvest. This spring we planted all around this area not realizing that that garlic would sprout up here. I finally decided for some reason this evening that I would go ahead and harvest this garlic. We do have another spot where we planted lots of garlic cloves in the garden. As we were checking out these 3garlic plants a neighbor was over at the garden checked out some things and brought over even more garlic for us. I can't wait to sample a little fresh garlic. I don't know if I'll have some with spaghetti and meatball or some other dish.
