This week has been hot and dry. Most plants in the gardens have been stressed and desperate for water. The garden on 6th Ave has been divided into plots and the first of the plants are in the ground. The neighborhood response has been great and a number of kids are enjoying the gardening experience. I love how the plots have paths defined by wood chips. The second gardening area is coming along nicely also.
