Not everything in the garden goes as planned. It seems over the past week or so we've had to battle not only increasing weeds, but a number of different pest. Earlier in the year we noticed some bugs chewing on the broccoli leaves. This continues to be a problem, but the florets of broccoli are still OK. We've had problems with Mexican Beans Beetles, Cucumber Beetles and it appears now we are having trouble with the zucchini and yellow squash. Most likely we will lose the zucchini and squash to these pests. The stems are almost rotten and many of the vegetables from the plants are rotting also.
